SMALL BACH DESIGN

A simple 40 sq.m timber building with main room (kitchen and living), one or two bedrooms and a bathroom. Ply cladding (cedartech exterior ply and shadowclad flashings), structurally insulated panels for the roof, aluminium joinery and treated pine decking and balustrading to keep costs at a minimum. This steep site required the use of poles and big bearers as foundations, and block retaining walls.

This small building can be added to or a separate pavilion connecting to it can be added as required.

It is realistic to assume a building cost of$4000.00+GST / sq.m.
