The 3 metre wide deck steps from the bi-fold doors of the house, follow the contours of the sand dune (hill) stepping down with the lower two being sheltered by the surrounding trees. The steps are deep, either 600mm wide or 900mm creating platforms that can be used for eating and sleeping. They are 400mm high so are large steps too climb up.

An alternative way of getting back up to the house has also been created.
